From September 10 to 14, 2026, Extra Terrasse participated in the Maison&Objet trade fair in Paris for the very first time! A milestone I have been looking forward to for a long time, and one that marks a real turning point for the brand 🔥
Maison&Objet, the major design and decoration event
Maison&Objet is the benchmark trade fair for decoration, design, and lifestyle. Twice a year, it brings together buyers, boutiques, architects, decorators, and hoteliers from all over the world at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, all in search of the brands and objects that will define the upcoming season.
Exhibiting there means presenting your products directly to those who choose them for their stores, their projects, or their establishments. For a young balcony furniture brand like Extra Terrasse, it is a rare opportunity.
In the (im)Pulse area, alongside Pépite France
I exhibited in the (im)Pulse by Pépite France area, a space dedicated to young entrepreneurs from the Pépite network, which has supported me since my incubation in 2024 and which awarded me the 2024 Pépite France Prize. After a pre-selection in the spring, my participation was confirmed at the end of May, and I had the chance to share this booth with other talented creators.
A huge thank you to the teams at Maison&Objet and Pépite France for their trust and their support throughout the preparation of the trade fair.
The Balconie balcony table presented to professionals
For five days, I presented the Balconie balcony table, the table that attaches directly to the railing, without drilling and without tools. A solution designed for small balconies, which allows you to enjoy your outdoor space without sacrificing any floor space.
I had the chance to talk with many professionals from France, but also from Germany and Italy: boutiques and concept stores, hotels, architects and interior designers, vacation rental owners... All places where the balcony becomes a real living space, and where the Balconie naturally finds its place.
A new step for Extra Terrasse
Following my first exhibition at Paris Design Week in 2024, an initial pitch at Viva Tech in 2025, and the Le FRENCH DESIGN FD100 award last spring, Maison&Objet is another important step in the history of Extra Terrasse.
This trade fair opens up some very exciting prospects: offering my balcony products in boutiques across France and Europe, and furnishing hotel and residential balconies. I am currently reaching out to everyone I met at the booth, and I look forward to announcing our first collaborations!
