For the first time, I asked an artist friend to customize a balcony table. Ombeline Villers, known for her hand-painted pieces and artisanal approach, shifted her focus from textiles to steel for this project. From this collaboration emerged a unique piece, ready to be placed directly on your balcony!
A dialogue between two artisanal worlds
My brand has always been committed to sustainable design and French manufacturing. Ombeline's work shares these same values: limited production, handmade, and a rejection of standardization. This collaboration arose naturally, like a dialogue between two areas of expertise that take the time to do things well and better.
Accustomed to revitalizing clothing with brushstrokes and Posca markers, Ombeline has here tackled a new medium: steel. A raw and industrial material, which contrasts with her colorful and sensitive world.
This customized balcony table is a unique piece, designed for everyday use. It embodies a different vision of furniture: more expressive, more personal, far removed from standardized objects. A singular creation, born from an encounter, and intended to bring art into daily life, even on a small terrace.
